Datuk Dr. Mohd Daud Bakar
Property is one of the five daruriyyat (essentials) in the Islamic divine law, due to its obvious importance in a man's life. In view of the fact that with property, man can live and uphold the claims of the Caliphate on earth. To ensure that man own their wealth and property in a proper manner, Islam enacts ownership contracts such as sale, purchase and other methods such as hibah (gift) and so on.
On the contrary, in order to prevent encroachment on the property and the owner, Islam prohibits bribery, riba (usury/interest), gambling and so on. Islam also forbids the wastage and property damage, either individually or in the context of a country.
The Quranic verse in Surah Al-Baqarah: Ayah 275, where Allah says:
"But Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden interest". This ayah forms as the fundamental principle where the speaker will throw light upon the significance of trade in fulfilling the demands of the daruriyyat, streamlined with his precious experiences and splendid points of view.

Purifying Your Wealth, Adding Barakah Into Your Life
Dr. Zulkifli Hasan
While we are busy with our daily tasks, sometimes we forget to make assessment on the sources of our earnings and income. As we know, among the major signs of qiamah (Judgment Day) is the widespread of riba in our society and their ignorance towards the impermissible wealth and earnings.
Impermissible wealth and earnings are income or revenue that obtained in a way that is not recognised by the shariah; such as income from riba, bribery, breach of trust, investments on illegal business, gain from selling stolen goods and so on.
There is probability that, in the source of ownership of wealth, there is presence of remnants of riba. Thereby, all the income that is derived from these kinds of modes need to be disposed in order to purify the entire wealth, thus achieve the pleasure of Allah.
Based on this awareness, the speaker will reveal the methods to decontaminate the wealth from the elements of haram, besides elucidate the related issues in impressive and effective way.
